Whole
A palette of natural colors

Portrait Aurélia Wolf

Whole is a textile creation studio based in Paris which is specialized in vegetable dyes. Founded by Aurélia Wolff, Whole advocates a commitment to promoting know-how.

Constantly in search of innovation, her workshop combines ancestral craft techniques with modern semi-industrial processes. French arance and gaude, indigo and campêche from Guadeloupe, European rhubarb, carrot leaves, avocado skins or even gall nuts… Nature offers an important palette of colours that the Whole workshop uses in the interior through a variety of accessories and decorative objects with vibrant and luminous shades.

For the TRICOLOR project presented at the Made in France Première Vision show in April 2019, Whole created a pouffe and cushions entirely made of French sheep’s wool and made sure to preserve the natural colour of the sheep’s fleece and enhanced it with a dye made of natural tinctures.
